Morning by Morning (11/10)
November 10, 2015
My morning gratitude for:
- The Pediatric Chaplains Network. I find that the collegiality and friendship at this group is more life sustaining and life giving than anything I have felt before. They are people who love kids and families, know the heartache of a child’s loss, are creative and playful, and know how to have good fun!
- The Pediatric Chaplains Network Advisory Council, for whom I serve as an At Large Member. I am heading out today for 3 days to be a part of this Advisory Council Annual Meeting in Phoenix (our next PCN retreat will be there) involving planning, deciding, visioning and caring support. I am so blessed by this group and their easy going fun loving nature. And I am blessed and grateful to serve on the Council and try to provide leadership- as the Tech Guy- go figure! Evidently the capability of writing a blog seems like I know how to build robots and write code per these good hearted but untechnological friends.
- My Dads text messaging! He is hilarious when he is allowed to write and joke. Just yesterday we had a great text conversation about him dying and going to the looney tune factory. You may not think its funny but you gotta know my dad!
- Being healthy. I left work so I could be home with Ryan after he got what looks like Foot and Mouth sickness, but I too got a stomach bug being home in the afternoon, became nautious, and major vomited once. Like I felt awful all night a and this morning I am gratefully aware of feeling healthy.
